I Send Email From My Domain Through Gmail or Another Service — What DNS Do I Need?

Some customers host their mailboxes with us but also send email from their domain through another service — like Gmail, a CRM, or a marketing/newsletter platform. This is supported, but it takes a bit of extra DNS setup to work correctly.

Why this needs special setup

Your domain's SPF record lists every system that's allowed to send email as you. If you add a second sending service without updating that record, mail from the new service may fail authentication checks and land in spam — or get rejected outright.

What we need from you

  • Which additional service you want to send from (e.g., Gmail, a CRM, a marketing platform).

  • Any specific SPF/DKIM values that service asks you to add — these are usually shown in that service's own setup instructions.

We'll fold those into your domain's records alongside what's already set up for your mailbox hosting, so both systems can send mail successfully.

Need help?

Setting up a second sending service, or not sure what records it's asking for? Email support@savemyservice.com with the service name and any instructions it gave you, and we'll configure it on our end.
