My Domain Is About to Expire — What Should I Do?

If you've received a notice that your domain registration is expiring soon, here's what it means and what you can do about it.

First, check where it's registered

If your domain is registered through us, we typically have your domain on auto-renewal and it will not expire.  If you are concerned, please contact us at support@savemyservice.com.

If it's registered somewhere else, the renewal notice is coming from that registrar, not from us — but we can still help.

What you can do

  • If your domain is already with us, contact us and we'll take care of it.

  • If your domain is registered elsewhere and about to expire: you can ask us to move it into our platform before it lapses. We'll guide you through the whole process.

What happens if it lapses

If a domain expires without being renewed, mail delivery and your website (if hosted on that domain) can stop working, and depending on the registrar, the domain may become unavailable for a period before it's released for anyone to register. It's best to act before the expiration date rather than after.

Need help?

Not sure who your domain is registered with, or want us to bring it under our management before it expires? Email support@savemyservice.com with your domain name and we'll help you sort it out.
