Trouble With the Online Payment Link or Portal?
If a payment link isn't working, or you're not sure how to find or use your online billing portal, this article covers the most common issues and how to fix them.
Finding Your Payment Portal
From the portal, you can view your invoice history, make a one-time payment, or set up automatic payments (auto-pay) for future invoices.
If you have accepted an invitation to the portal and have established your account, you can enter your email address and sign-in.
If you have not established your portal account, you will need to Sign Up by clicking on the Sign Up link at the bottom of the page. You can only have a portal account if your email address is the contact email in your SaveMyService Hosting account.
Once you sign-up for your portal, you will receive an email invitation. If you don't find it in your email, please check your trash, spam or quarantine folders in case it was delivered there. This is the portal invitation:
Once you receive this invitation, you will need to click on the green "Accept Invitation" button. Once you do this, you will be prompted to enter a password:
Once you establish your password, you will have access to your SaveMyService Hosting financial portal:
Common Issues and Fixes
The payment link says it's expired or invalid.
Payment links can expire after a period of time for security. Go to your most recent invoice email instead of an older one, or contact us for a fresh link.
The portal won't let you sign in.
Make sure you're using the email address where you received your invitation email. If you've never set a portal password, look for a “Sign Up” link and establish your account.
Your card is being declined in the portal.
Double-check the card number, expiration date, and billing zip code match exactly what your bank has on file. If it still fails, try a different card or contact your bank to make sure the charge isn't being blocked on their end.
You'd like to set up auto-pay.
Once signed in to the portal, look for your My Details box. If you don't already have a payment method established, click the "Add Payment Method" link. Once you have a payment method established, click on "invoices" and pay your invoice with your credit card. If you go to "Subscriptions" you can open the subscription you just paid for. Auto-charge should now be enabled with the option to "Disable" if you want to.
